Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Overview

Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Upon appearance, you will be welcomed by a delegate from Destination Serengeti Safaris, who will take you on a homegrown departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha (ARK). The following day you will go through the night in your housing sitting tight for your safari.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel ready for the safari to Tarangire national park. Tarangire river is the source of water for wild animals during dry season, many wild animals can be easily spotted during the afternoon because they come to the riverbanks to drink water also there are many baobab tree in this park.

In the afternoon you will have lunch at the picnic site, after game drive, drive to Crater Rim View

Day 3

Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we have a long day drive to Serengeti national park, via beautiful high lying farmland of karatu. Leaving the high land behind we descend into the heart of wild Africa- Serengeti National Park with its endless plains

Day 4

Full day Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we head into the Serengeti National Park for a Full day game drive, Songore River Circit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor`s center not far from the Serengeti seronera lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the game drive.
